Personalized Education for All School-age Patients
We take the worry of education continuity away from families and healthcare organizations like yours. We help kids stay on top of (or catch up on) school work, and gain the ability to quickly return to school by practicing being in class.
Bridge the Gap Between Education & Care
You focus on clinical, we’ll handle the education. We help you put a program into place, meet compliance rules and regulations, and support patient referrals by allowing you to provide both treatment and education.
From Hospital to Home, All Kids Can Learn
LearnWell ensures that every child who needs care is able to continue to receive an education. We provide specialized teachers, tutors, and programs to behavioral health hospitals, eating disorder programs, addiction treatment centers, medical hospitals, and homebound programs.
Behavioral Health Settings
Your school-age patients need personalized lesson plans that keep them engaged, yet have enough structure to capture their attention.
You need a program that allows you to deliver the right education to students, allowing you to focus on what you do best: care.
Addiction Treatment Facilities
Provide students in your care with structured, yet individualized, instruction that supports the work you’re doing to help them heal.
We provide quality teaching services for your hospitalized students. And, with regular communication from admission to discharge and optional attendance reporting, we make it easy for you to stay in compliance with home and hospital regulations.
Your child will receive a tailored and structured education program that is built around their individual needs, easing any concerns that a hospitalization could negatively impact academic progress.
Our teachers know the unique population of students we teach. They are trained in ways to make class engaging and be flexible within a variety of settings. They always strive to help each student continue to progress towards their full potential.
We are the unparalleled leader in providing K-12 educational programs to school-age patients.
Across the country we work in behavioral health settings, eating disorder programs, addiction treatment facilities, medical hospitals and homebound programs.

Featured Success Story
Andrew is an Assistant Director who has been with LearnWell for 3 years, starting as a teacher at a Community-Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) program. He currently manages 7 teachers in their professional development in behavioral health settings and collaborates with Program Directors on 9 hospital accounts in Southern Massachusetts. When asked what is something he likes about LearnWell, he responded “I love that our work makes a difference in students’ lives. Many students can slip through the cracks in our education system when they are hospitalized for a few weeks, but we bridge that gap to ensure they stay on track to graduate!”
WALDEN BEHAVIORAL CARE
Walden Behavioral Care runs both an Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Eating Disorder Program and an Adolescent Residential Eating Disorder Program. The patients within these programs tend to be unique in that many of them learn well above their grade levels and may even be taking AP (Advanced Placement) college-level courses. The administrators at Walden Behavioral Care also faced a challenge of how to fit both therapy and education into each patient’s day.
Working with LearnWell allows the school component of the program to be managed by people who are experts in education rather than expecting therapists to be experts in education.Ima Jean SmithRockford Center

The fact that I’ve been told that 100% of our kids have their school work is amazing and definitely shows that there's an improvement and things are successful.DirectorHealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley
